I've always been passionate about small business and creating, and sourcing meaningful work.

This passion and the years spent learning from scrappy founders who turned dying ventures into thriving restaurants, and founded niche retail operations that grew sustainably and provided exceptional customer experience. ​

Inspired to entrepreneurship through my own desire to create my own path, with my own passions, I generated businesses in garden design, niche retail and eventually moved into working directly with small business owners from solopreneurs to busy restauranteurs, building contractors, wellness, spa, salon owners and more.

For 12 + years now I have worked exclusively in small business development and sector improvement through one to one advisory and community economic development projects focused on developing small enterprise and owner education and training in early stage entrepreneurship, transitions, disaster recovery and pivot and growth strategies.

For those of us who begin our business from passion and our technical expertise, the business knowledge often comes later, as business begins to grow.

The scrappy late nights, long days, and single - handed management of our early days can get pretty overwhelming when business picks up.
